William E. (Bill) Cannon, born 11/25/1943 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Graduated from Andrew Jackson High School 1961.
Came to Brevard County in 1961 as a member of the 536th AF Band at Patrick AFB.
Attended Brevard Junior College from 1965 - 1967.
Graduated from Murray State University in 1970 with a Bachelors of Music Education.
Married Delores Harmon in 1966 and we have three sons and one grandsone, Cameron.
Spent 5 years in the 705th MP Company of the Florida National Guard.
Worked 10 years for the Brevard County Sheriffs Department at the Sheriff's Farm.
Retired from Brevard County Schools after 32 years of teaching at Clearlake Middle School, Cocoa High School,
Edgewood Jr. High and Golfview Elementary.
Currently serves as President of Canaveral Groves Homeowners Inc., member the Brevard County Planning and Zoning,
the LPA, District 1 South Dirt Road Committee, Parrish Pt. St. John Diagnostic Center Advisory Board,
4-H Foundation, and the Brevard County Fair Board.
Writes "Fruit From the Groves" for HAPPENINGS newsletter.
