Week of August 7th

Schools opening for the new year, August schedule for Enchanted Forest Sanctuary, a new medical facility opening, hands-on cooking and food preparation coursed, early Primary voting information and the August PSJ Library schedule are inside.

Becker’s Hospital Review tabbed Parrish Medical Center CEO George Mikitarian for 4th time as one of “Community Hospital CEOs to Know.” Open Interviews at the hospital continue on Tuesdays for walk-ins with many employment opportunities, not just medical personnel. No appointment is required.

Week of August 14th

Port St. John lost another of our long-time community champions who worked for years to make us a better community for our youngsters. Rocket Lab announced their new GHOST mobile launchers are ready to be deployed to make smaller packages for space available to smaller businesses, and from more locations. Eastern Florida State College is offering courses to prepare students for the sophisticated manufacturing needed for space programs. Port Canaveral is expanding and Brightline has received a funding package for a Cocoa station. Primary voting information and the August PSJ Library schedule are inside. 

Week of August 21st

First United Methodist Church announced their Fall Fair and they're looking for more vendors, Adult Mental Health First Aid Training is available at OMNI Healthcare in Melbourne, Job Seekers has added the long list of FREE services to their website and the August PSJ Library schedule are inside.
Parrish Medical Group welcomed Radiation Oncologist Ana Botero, MD and Susan Munsey-Perry is this quarter's DAISY Award honoree. Open Interviews at the hospital continue on Tuesdays for walk-ins with many employment opportunities, not just medical personnel. No appointment is required.

Week of August 28th

Come From Away will be starting at the Titusville Playhouse and the September American Legion and Amvets schedules, along with the August PSJ Library schedule are inside.
