St. Patrick’s Church - April
As spring arrives and the Church moves through the most sacred season of the Christian year, St. Patrick’s Anglican Church invites the community to join in worship, reflection and fellowship. Holy Week and Easter are the heart of the Christian faith, remembering the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Throughout this season, the parish offers a variety of services and gatherings designed to help people prepare their hearts, celebrate the Resurrection and enjoy fellowship with neighbors and friends.
Holy Week and Easter Services
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on March 29, with Mass at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m., commemorating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
On Wednesday, April 1, the parish will gather for a Holy Wednesday service at 6:00 p.m., continuing the journey to the Cross.
Maundy Thursday service will be held on April 2 at 6:00 p.m., remembering the Last Supper when Jesus gave the commandment to love one another and instituted the Holy Eucharist.
Good Friday, April 3 is a solemn day of remembrance marking the crucifixion of Christ. The church will observe Meditation on the Passion from 12:00–3:00 p.m., followed by Stations of the Cross at 3:30 p.m. and the Mass of the Pre-Sanctified at 4:30 p.m.
EASTER SUNDAY – APRIL 5

St. Patrick’s joyfully invites the community to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday, April 5. A beautiful Sunrise Mass will be held at 7:00 a.m. in the Memorial Garden, followed by a Traditional Easter Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Families, friends and visitors are warmly welcomed as the parish gathers to celebrate the hope and new life of Easter.
Parish Fellowship and Community Gatherings
St. Patrick’s also hosts several opportunities for fellowship and community support throughout the month.
The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group will meet on Tuesday, April 7, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. This gathering offers encouragement, conversation and shared resources for those raising the next generation.
The Ladies Fellowship and Craft Group will meet on Monday, April 20 at 6:00 p.m. for an evening of creativity and fellowship.
Our Veterans, Veteran Spouses and First Responder Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 9:00 a.m., honoring those who serve and have served our country and communities. Bring a veteran to breakfast.
Regular Worship Schedule
Regular worship at St. Patrick’s continues throughout the year with Sunday Mass at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. and a Wednesday evening Mass at 6:00 p.m. Morning Prayer is offered Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. via Facebook Live; www.facebook.com/StPatspsj.
