March is a beautiful and meaningful month at St. Patrick’s as we continue our Lenten journey and prepare our hearts for Holy Week and Easter. We warmly invite our Port St. John community to join us for worship, fellowship and one of our most beloved traditions.
St. Patrick’s Traditional Irish Dinner – Our Annual Traditional Irish Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 14. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 6:00 p.m. This festive evening includes traditional corned beef and smoked corned beef, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions, rolls, beverages (coffee, hot and iced tea, lemonade) and dessert. We will also have a raffle featuring wonderful prizes. This event sells out quickly, so we encourage you to purchase tickets soon. Lent & Holy Week Services
“Walk with Christ to the Cross.”
During Lent, Stations of the Cross is offered on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., followed by Weekday Mass at 6:00 p.m.
Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday Mass on March 29 at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. Holy Wednesday service will be on April 1 at 6:00 p.m. The Maundy Thursday service is on April 2 at 6:00 p.m. On Good Friday, April 3, we will observe Meditation from 12:00–3:00 p.m., Stations of the Cross at 3:30 p.m., and the Mass of the Pre-Sanctified at 4:30 p.m.

Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with us on Easter Sunday, April 5th. Sunrise Mass will be held at 7:00 a.m. in our Memorial Garden, followed by a Traditional Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the church.
Community Events
Grandparents Raising Grandchildren meets on Tuesday, March 3, from 9:30–11:30 a.m. Ladies Fellowship and Craft Group will meet on Monday, March 16th, at 6:00 p.m. Our Veterans, Veteran Spouses, and First Responder Breakfast will be held Saturday, March 28, at 9:00 a.m.
