Fruit From the Groves
On June 11 at 7 p.m., Canaveral Groves Homeowners, Inc will hold a Candidates Night at Brevard Christian Church, located at 3925 Grissom Pkwy., Cocoa. This meeting will be held for the candidates running for the empty Brevard County Commission Seat 1. This area includes Cocoa all the way to the north county line. Please come so you can meet the candidates and make an informed decision on which candidate you will vote for. Please remember, this meeting will be held in a church building.
Brevard County Fire is replacing engine 29 with a new engine. I remember the day when some of us pushed the Guardians of The Groves into the station for its first day. It has served us well and will become a second run unit. A lot of people do not realize the number of calls that unit has gone on.
The engine and its crews have served us well.
Brevard County Sheriff's Office is still out here doing traffic enforcement. Please call them if you see any illegal dumping in progress so they can respond.
Waste Management has asked to remind people to keep at least 3 feet between containers. They must be called to pick up brush and large items. Please keep brush and items back away from the road.
