Read Your Way to K:
Little Laptime: Tuesdays, 9:30–10:00 a.m. Short stories and nursery rhymes for babies ages 1 and under. Adult supervision required.
Little Movers & Groovers: Thursdays and Fridays, 9:30–10:00 a.m. A fun movement program for toddlers five and under. Adult supervision required.
Toddler Story Time: Thursdays & Fridays, 10:30–11:00 a.m. For children ages 3–5. Adult supervision required.
Playdate: Thursdays & Fridays, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. For babies and toddlers five and under. Adult supervision required.
TEENS
Teen Chess Club: Saturday, June 20, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Designed for ages 13–17, Chess Club offers a relaxed, non-competitive space for teens to play friendly chess matches. Adult supervision required.
Teen D & D: Saturday, June 13 & 27, 3:00 –4:45 p.m. A staff-led, beginner-friendly tabletop role-playing adventure where players create characters, roll dice, and collaboratively tell a fantasy story. This event is for ages 14-17. Adult supervision required.
Game Day: Sundays, 1:00–4:00 p.m.. Board, tabletop, and card games in the main library area. All ages welcome. Adult supervision required.
Weekly Events
Kids’ D&D: Sundays, 3:00 & 3:30 p.m. A staff-led, beginner-friendly tabletop role-playing adventure where players create characters, roll dice and collaboratively tell a fantasy story for children ages 8–13. Space is limited; kids will be split into parties of five. Adult supervision required at all times.
Family Movie Night: Mondays, 4:00–6:00 p.m. Have fun watching G or PG-rated movies. All ages welcome. Adult supervision required.
Beginners’ Chess: Saturday, June 6, 10:00 –11:00 a.m. A program for kids ages 6–12 to learn the basics of chess in a no-pressure environment. Adult supervision required.
Brick Builders: Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m. A free building session play event for ages 6-12, featuring building bricks and blocks. Adult supervision required.

Bubble Show: June 1, 10:00 a.m. All ages welcome.
Silent Disco Party: June 3, 3:00 p.m. All ages welcome.
Outdoor Foam Party: June 8, 10:00 a.m. All ages welcome. Dress in clothes that can get messy and wear shoes. This is a weather-permitting event.
Jurassic Expedition: JBrevard County Fire Rescue: June 15, 10:00 a.m. All ages welcome. Fire rescue may leave in the event of an emergency.
Brevard Zoo Wiggly Wonders: June 17, 3:00 & 3:45 p.m. Ages 5 and under.
Florida Wildlife Hospital: June 22, 10:00 a.m. Ages 6 and up.

Book Worms Book Club: Wednesday, June 3, 6:30 p.m. Join the group for a lively discussion of The Patient by Michael Palmer. Pick up July’s title, The 57 Bus, by Dashka Slater.
Yarn Group: Fridays in June at 1:00 p.m. The yarn group is a group of adults who enjoy knitting and crocheting. They are happy to help you learn. All levels are welcome. They donate projects and meet every Friday at the Port St. John Public Library.
Community Support Advocate: Monday, June 8 and 22. Community Support Advocate will be at the Port St. John Public Library. The community support advocate assists with housing, SNAP, social security, healthcare and insurance, and senior resources. Appointments and walk-ins are accepted. See the Reference desk for details.
The Port Saint John Dependent Special District Board: Wednesday, June 10 at 6 p.m. Public meeting.
Port Readers Book Club: Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m. At this meeting, we will discuss Is a River Alive? by Robert Macfarlane, and then pick up the book for July: The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway.
Book Bedazzle: Wednesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. Come and create a bedazzled book cover with the supplies provided.
Family Programs
Sun Catcher: Saturday, June 6, 2:30 p.m. Come and create your very own sun catcher with the supplies provided. This is a Family program.
Artist Trading Cards: Monday, June 8 at 1 p.m. Come and create your very own artist trading cards. Trade them or keep them.
Rock Painting: Saturday, June 13, 2:30 p.m. Come and create your very own painted rock with the supplies provided.
Spin Wheel Trivia: Wednesday, June 17, 6 p.m. Join us for an evening of fun answering trivia questions.
Gardening Program: Saturday, June 20 at 2:30 p.m. In this program we will learn about sprouting kits for fresh edible sprouts. Ages 5 and up with adult supervision.
Artist Trading Cards: Saturday, June 27 at 11 a.m. Come and create your very own artist trading cards. Trade them or keep them.
String Art: Tuesday, June 30 at 1 p.m. Come make your own unique wall art using colorful string. Supplies provided.
